“Using light and your dSLR” workshop on October 13th!

If you own a dSLR and want to learn to use it to it’s full potential, this workshop is going to be for you.

Have you seen pictures of your friends on facebook and wondered how they got such good photos, only to find out that they own a dSLR and threw their “point and shoot” to the curb? Have you bought a dSLR and are using it in “Green Square” mode?

Well, we need to help you change that. Learn what “Aperture Priority” and “Manual” modes are, and what they can do to change your imagery.

All you need to attend this workshop is a dSLR (one of those cameras with changable lenses), a desire to learn how to make compelling photos, and $75.

We will be doing some lecture time (bring something to take notes with), and then we will be putting much of that info into practice and getting some “hands on” learning time. We will cover what f/stop, shutter speed, and ISO are… and what they mean to creating the imagery you seek. If there is a button on your camera that you don’t know what it does, this class will be your chance to find out. The class will be on October 13th, so don’t wait until all of the spots fill up to sign up.

This class will be limited to the first 10 people to sign up, so be sure to reserve your spot quick, and don’t miss out on this fun time of learning and picture taking. Reservations can be made with a $25 deposit (non-refundable).
